Videocrud is an experimental short-form video platform for artists and curators. Our goal is to democratize access to new media art while ensuring contributors get paid equitably. Videocrud is predicated on the idea that while you may only fit a few hundred people in a gallery, you can reach millions on the internet. Small payments can add up to great sums when put in a global context.

Groups of videos are organized into thematic “seasons” and will be available globally for a small payment of one to five USD. Any revenue recouped beyond the cost of the production will be distributed equally among participating artists, curators, and other stakeholders. All participants will have access to reports that track the analytics of the exhibition(s) they participate in. The goal is total transparency.
